Wichita North High School (KS)

Wichita North High School is a public high school in Wichita, Kansas. Established in 1929, the schools enrollment is approxiametly 1,900. The school principle since 2006 has been Mr. Sherman Padgett. The school's athletic teams are known as the Redskins, and their colors are red and white. The school mascot is Butch, the Buffalo. Notable graduates include WNBA star Lynette Woodard. Woodard played in the WNBA's inaugural season and was also the first female Harlem Globetrotter. She was also a coach at the University of Kansas.
