Will Bynum

William "Will" Bynum (born January 4, 1983 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American professional basketball player currently playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv in Tel Aviv, Israel. A point guard, he previously played for the NBA's Golden State Warriors. Prior to that, he played for the Roanoke Dazzle of the NBA Development League. He was the winner of the 2005-06 NBA Development League Rookie of the Year.

After signing a contract with the Boston Celtics in the off-season of 2005, he participated in NBA preseason play and was subsequently waived before the start of the 2005-06 regular season.

He signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel before the 2006-07 season.

Bynum is a playground legend in the Chicago area having outplayed many of the city's best players, including Antoine Walker, Tony Allen, Luther Head, Dee Brown, and Sean Dockery. After starring at Crane High School in Chicago, he played for the University of Arizona before transferring to Georgia Tech. He never started at the University of Arizona and left the team after a disagreement with head coach Lute Olson. He helped Georgia Tech reach the NCAA Division I Men's Tournament Final Four, but lost to the Connecticut Huskies. Bynum hit the last second shot against Oklahoma State in the Final Four to propel the Jackets to the championship game.
