Wilmington Bombers

The Wilmington Blue Bombers were an American basketball team based in Wilmington, Delaware that was a member of the American Basketball League in the 1941-42 season. They changed their name to Wilmington Bombers for the 1943-44 season, and kept that name for the remainder of their existence, through the end of the 1946-47 season.

Their home court was the State Armory. They were displaced from it for the 1943-43 season, but resumed play the following season, 1943-44.

The Bombers won the ABL championship in both the 1941-42 and 1943-44 seasons.
