Wynne Arboleda

Wynne Arboleda (born on November 29, 1976 in Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines) is a 5 ft 11 and 180 lb point guard who is a Filipino professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association for the Air21 Express.

About the Player

From a second-rate point guard to one of the league’s most effective playmakers, the sturdy 5-11 Arboleda has transformed himself into one of the Express’ most important players in the years to come. The player known as ‘The Snatcher’ has come along way since he broke into the PBA in 2000 with Pop Cola.

A member of the All-Defensive Team, Arboleda had a career year last season with averages of 10.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, a league second-best 5.4 assists and league-best 2.1 steals per game, testament to his all-around value to the team. The 29-year-old Aklan-born guard started in 50 of 51 games and is expected to continue to lead the Express in their hunt for their first title in the league.
