The only place super-basketball talent played every summer in New York other than Rucker Park was Mount Vernon's 4th Street Park. Brothers Gus & Ray Williams, Earl Tatum, Rudy Hackett, Scooter & Rodney McCray, Lowes Moore, Ben Gordon and countless others learned the game on these courts. The 4th Street Park list of neighborhood-bred players in the NBA can't be matched by any other streetball court in America.
