Adonal David Foyle (born March 9, 1975 in Canouan, St. Vincent and The Grenadines) is a retired Vincentian-American professional basketball. He was selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 8th overall selection of the 1997 NBA Draft and played with the team during his entire ten-year pro career, until August 13, 2007, when his contract was bought out. He was the Warriors' longest-tenured player.

College

Foyle's 492 blocked shots at Colgate broke the mark of 453 set by Alonzo Mourning at Georgetown. He was named Third Team All-America by The Associated Press and Second Team All-America by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association following his junior year, when his 180 blocked shots was the second-highest single season total in NCAA history. A two-time winner of the Patriot League Player of the Year Award and a First Team GE/CoSIDA Academic All-America as a junior, he ranks as Colgate's all-time leading rebounder (1,103) and second all-time scorer (1,776 points). In three seasons he averaged 20.4 points, 12.7 rebounds and 5.66 blocks per game.

NBA

Foyle was selected in the first round (8th pick overall) of the 1997 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors. Through his NBA career, Foyle has averaged 4.1 points and 1.6 blocks per game. He has finished amongst the 10 highest players in blocks per game three times during his career.

In July 2004, during the offseason, the Warriors re-signed Foyle to a six-year, $42 million contract. Foyle played very sparingly during the 2006–07 season under new coach Don Nelson, and was waived by the Warriors on August 13, 2007, with three years and $29.2 million remaining on his contract. On August 23, 2007, Foyle signed with the Orlando Magic for the veteran minimum of $1.3 million. On August 2, 2008, he re-signed with the Magic for another year, also at the veteran minimum.

He was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies on February 19, 2009.

On March 1, 2009 the Grizzlies waived Foyle. Foyle signed with the Orlando Magic on March 23, 2009 for the rest of the season.

On August 27, 2009, Foyle re-signed with the Magic. However, he underwent arthroscopic knee surgery before the season began.

On August 17, 2010 it was announced Foyle would retire.
