Andrew Richard Betts (born May 11, 1977, in Coalville, Leicestershire, England) is an English professional basketball player, whos rights are currently held by the Indiana Pacers. He is 7'1" and plays the center position. He is married to Michelle Jones, a former Long Beach State volleyball player. Andrew and Michelle have two daughters.

College

Betts went to college at two different places: C.W. Post University and Long Beach State University. He played basketball on both colleges' teams.

NBA

Betts was selected in the second round (50th pick overall) by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1998 NBA Draft. His rights are currently held by the Indiana Pacers. He has never played in an NBA game, however.

Europe

He moved to Italy for the 1998-99 season, and was signed by Fortitudo Bologna. For the 1999-00 season he moved to Pallacanestro Reggiana. He signed for the Spanish ACB League's 1999-00 playoffs by Real Madrid. Betts moved to Greece for the 2000-01 season, and was signed by AEK Athens (Greece). He played there until the 2002-03 championship. He moved to Spain for the 2003-03 season, and was signed by Tau Vitoria. For the 2005-2007, he played with Joventut Badalona in the Spanish ACB. In 2007, he played with Cajasol Sevilla in the ACB.
