The Austin Toros are an American minor league basketball team in the NBA D-League based in Cedar Park, Texas. The team plays home games at Cedar Park Center.
Their logo is the design of a bull and basketball with the state of Texas in the background. After the San Antonio Spurs purchased the franchise, the team colors and logo were changed to reflect the silver and black motif used by the Spurs. The Spurs are the second NBA team to own their D-League affiliate, joining the Los Angeles Lakers. The Spurs purchased the Austin Toros on June 28, 2007 and will oversee the team operations from San Antonio. Former University of Missouri coach Quin Snyder enters his first season as head coach of the Toros.
