John Barry Clemens (born May 1, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, USA) is a former American professional basketball player. He attended high school at Xenia High School, in Xenia, Ohio. Clemens, a 6'6" forward, attended college at Ohio Wesleyan University, a private liberal arts college in Delaware, Ohio. He played for seasons for the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops. His best season statistically was his junior year in which he averaged 24.1 points per game.
Clemens was selected in the third round (19th pick overall) of the 1965 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks. He went on to have a productive 11 year career with five teams from 1965-1976: the Knicks, the Chicago Bulls, the Seattle SuperSonics, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Portland Trail Blazers. He retired in 1976 with career totals of 5,316 points and 2,526 rebounds.
