William (Bill) Henry Walker (born October 9, 1987 in Huntington, West Virginia), is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the NBA's Boston Celtics. He made the decision to enroll in an accelerated at North College Hill in order to graduate early after discovering that he had used all of his high school athletics eligibility the previous year. He enrolled at Kansas State as a part-time student so that he would be eligible to play December 16, 2006, which was the start of the second semester. He had an immediate impact on the team, averaging 11.3 points per game and 4.5 rebounds in the six games he played in. In his sixth game, he ruptured the ACL in his left knee early in a game against Texas A&M. The injury required surgery and ended his freshman season. He was back and able for the start of the 2007-2008 season.
