Biography

Ed Demarest was born in Morristown, New Jersey on October 9, 1978. While attending Grade School at St. Joseph's Regional in Newton, New Jersey, Demarest played 4 years for the St. Joseph's Tigers as a starting center.

Demarest participated in the Kittatiny Invitational Tournament twice. After the 1993 season Demarest graduated to High School where he attended and played for Pope John Regional in Sparta, NJ.

After four years of High School he attended College at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ.

Demarest, along with his brother Andrew, Josh Hammerstone and Brian Grant assembled the street team "The Unleashed". The Unleashed were invited to the Nike-sponsored Hoop it Up Invitational Tournament. Their record was 2-2, due to a controversy involving directions and Corey Ratliff.

Demarest has been the head coach of the Belvidere High School Freshmen Boys team in NJ for 3 years.

Demarest calls Hope Court in Hope, New Jersey (aka "The Cage") his Streetball home.
