Eddie is a 1996 film that tells the story of one Eddie Franklin, a super fan who becomes head coach of the Knicks by being in the right place at the right time. The film stars Whoopie Goldberg, Frank Langella, Dennis Farina, and Richard Jenkins.

Eddie features numerous cameos of NBA stars and New York celebrities, notably John Salley, Rick Fox, Malik Sealy, Mark Jackson, Dwayne Schintzius and Greg Ostertag.
