"Hard to Make A Layup" is a fairly simple game. To play the game all you need is 3 or more people at least two Whiffle Ball bats a basketball and a court. Here's how the game works. One person starts at the top of the key with the basketball and the others stand in the lane with the bats. The person with the basketball tries to take the ball to the basket for a layup while avoiding the Whiffle Ball Bats. The bats are meant to only be used to poke at the ball not intentionally for harm on the other players (although some people get smacked in the hand or poked in the eye). Goal tending with the bats is acceptable. Once the layup is made it's time for the next person to try and make a layup and so on.

This game was invented in Hope, NJ at Hope Court. It was meant to help with control while taking a hit on the way to the basket.
