Indianapolis Clowns

Indianapolis Clowns, a show team based in Indianapolis, Indiana in the 1940s and 1950s. They were associated with the Indianapolis Clowns Negro League baseball team, which besides playing serious baseball did a lot of clowning. The basketball team followed the same approach, and provided a show similar to what the Harlem Globetrotters gave its customers.
