Jamison was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the 2nd round (41st overall) in the 2001 NBA Draft. He played 36 games with the Pacers and scored 58 points total for all three years. He was signed as a restricted free agent by the New York Knicks on August 27, 2004. He played 18 games with New York until he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs in 2005.
