Jason Chandler Williams (born November 18, 1975) is a retired American professional basketball player who played Point Guard. He was a member of the 2006 NBA Champion Miami Heat.
College
Opted for early entry into the 1998 NBA Draft following his junior season at Florida…averaged 14.9 points, 6.5 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.15 steals in 48 games played during his collegiate career at Marshall (1995-96) and Florida (1997-98) while shooting 48.3 percent from the floor, 39.4 percent from three-point range and 79.3 percent from the foul line…named Associated Press Honorable Mention All-Southeastern Conference after averaging 17.1 points, 6.7 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.70 steals in 20 games as a red-shirt junior while shooting 44.1 percent from the floor, 40.3 percent from three-point range and 84 percent from the charity stripe in 1997-98…scored a career-high 31 points at Texas on Dec. 9, 1997…set a Florida single-game record with 17 assists against Duquesne on December 3, 1997…practiced with Florida during the 1996-97 season, but had to sit out the season after transferring from Marshall…sat out the 1994-95 season at Marshall as a red-shirt. In 2002 Williams was named to the ACC's 50th Anniversary Men's Basketball Team.
