Jim Dinwiddie (May 1, 1948 [1]-February 7, 2012) was a former American basketball player. Dinwiddie at 6 ft 4 played at the Guard position. He attended Kentucky scroing 277 career points. He was drafted 10th round, 163rd pick in the 1971 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers but never played an NBA game instead returned to his hometown to of Leitchfield, Kentucky. On February 7, Dinwiddie found dead, cause of death was suicide by gunshot. He was 63 years old. [2]
