Mark Macon

Mark L. Macon (born April 14, 1969, in Saginaw, Michigan) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the 1st round (8th overall) of the 1991 NBA Draft. Macon played for the Nuggets and Detroit Pistons in 6 NBA seasons, averaging 6.7 ppg in his career. He played collegiately at Temple University alongside of future pros Aaron McKie and Eddie Jones. Macon, is currently an assistant coach to head coach, Michael Perry, at Georgia State University, having left Temple University, where he assisted coach John Chaney.
