Pete Brennan

Peter Joseph "Pete" Brennan (born September 23, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, USA) is a retired American professional basketball player.
He attended high school at Saint Augustine High School, in Brooklyn, New York.
Brennan attended college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he played collegeg ball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. There, he was chosen ACC Men's Basketball Player of the Year in the 1957-58 season.
He was selected in the first round (4th pick overall) of the 1958 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks.
He played one season in the NBA with the Knicks, playing 16 games, scoring 40 points, grabbing 31 rebounds, making 6 assists, and playing 136 minutes.
Brennan was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame in 2007.
