Tom Scheffler

Thomas "Tom" Mark Scheffler (born October 27, 1954, in St. Joseph, Michigan) is retired American professional basketball player.
Career
Scheffler played collegiately at Purdue University before spending most of his career in Europe playing in Italy, Spain, Greece, Switzerland and France. He was selected in the sixth round (117th pick overall) of the 1977 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers. His only stint in the NBA was in the 1985-86 season when he played 39 games as a 12th man for the Portland Trail Blazers.
Scheffler's most notable successes came during his time with ÉB Pau-Orthez in France where his contribution resulted in Orthez winning the French basketball Championship in 1986 and 1987.
Tom Scheffler also had a younger brother named Steve Scheffler who played for Seattle SuperSonics.
Post career
In his post-career days, Scheffler has settled in Lugano, Switzerland and is running an English school.
