Xavier Silas (born January 22, 1988) is an American professional basketball player who plays at Shooting guard in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers. He is the son of former player James Silas. Silas came out of college at Northern Illinois undrafted. He signed with the 76ers in preseason but was waived. He played for the NBA D-League team Maine Red Claws. on April 24, 2012 he was signed by the 76ers for the rest of the season.
