York Community High School (IL)

York Community High School, of Elmhurst, Illinois, has had moderate success in basketball. Its best season was in 1967, when the team made it to the quarterfinals of the state tournament with all-state player Jim Dawson. York was defeated by the eventually state champions, Pekin, 94-70.

The school had a fairly good team during the 2007-08 season, which included such players as Ricky Alemon, Jordan Gales, Steve Ganser, PJ Bobulski, Pat Rosengren, and Roger Coffin.
